Kozhi Pachakurumulakittath recipe

Ingredients for Kozhi Pachakurumulakittath (Chicken with fresh black pepper):

  1. Chicken – ½ kg
  2. Lemon juice – 2 small spoons
    Salt – For taste
  3. Butter – 1 small spoon
    Ginger juice – 2 small spoons
    Garlic paste – 1 small spoon
    Curd – 1 small spoon
    Black pepper not dried (Pacha Kurumulak) crushed – 2 small spoons
    Red chillies crushed – 1 small spoon
    Cashews soaked and ground – 1 small spoon
    Onions, sliced, sauted and ground – 3 small spoons
    Salt – For taste
  4. Oil – For frying

How to prepare Kozhi Pachakurumulakittath (Chicken with fresh black pepper)?

  1. Cut chicken into small pieces along with bones and marinate well, adding ingredients no: 2.
  2. Allow it to rest for half an hour.
  3. Wash the chicken just once, and using a fork, make marks here and there.
  4. Mix ingredients no: 3 and marinate the chicken.
  5. Place chicken in the refrigerator for an hour. Chicken should be well-coated with the gravy.
  6. Heat oil and deep-fry chicken pieces on a medium flame.
