Wheat Almonds Halwa recipe

Ingredients for Wheat Almonds Halwa:

1. Almonds – One cup

2. Ghee – Half cup

3. Milk – Three-fourth cup
     Water – Half a cup

4. Wheat flour  – One big spoon

5. Sugar – Three-fourth cup

6. Saffron – A little

7. Cardamom powder – Half a small spoon

8. Almonds, finely chopped – Two big spoons

How to prepare Wheat Almonds Halwa?

  1. Soak the almonds in hot water for an hour.
  2. After that, peel off the skin and grind them into a smooth paste without adding any water.
  3. Heat ghee in a pan and add the ground almond paste.
  4. Sauté continuously on medium heat for about 7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Meanwhile, combine the milk and water in another vessel and boil the mixture for 3 to 4 minutes.
  6. Add the wheat flour to the almond mixture in the pan, mix well, and stir continuously.
  7. Cook on low heat for 2 minutes.
  8. Pour the boiled milk and water mixture into the pan and stir continuously.
  9. Cook on medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring without stopping.
  10. Next, add the sugar and mix well.
  11. Continue stirring and cook on medium heat for another 1 to 2 minutes.
  12. Add the saffron and stir for 1 minute.
  13. Remove the pan from the heat, then add the cardamom powder and mix everything together thoroughly.
  14. Garnish with the finely chopped almond pieces.
  15. You can serve it hot or store it in an airtight container once it cools down.
