How to prepare Almond Halwa (Badam Halwa)?
- Soak almonds for some hours.
- Peel off the skin and make a fine paste, adding milk.
- If needed, you can add more milk while grinding.
- Heat ingredients no: 3 in a thick-bottomed pan.
- When sugar melts completely, reduce the heat to medium flame.
- Add badam-milk paste to it and stir continuously to avoid burning at the bottom.
- When the halwa thickens, add ghee at regular intervals, little by little.
- You can add ghee when the halwa sticks to the side of the pan.
- When halwa starts separating from the edges, and bubbles start appearing, take it off the flame.
- You can serve almond halwa hot and chilled, as you desire.
Note: You can add yellow food colour if you want.
