Pineapple Kichadi for Kozhikode Sadya recipe

Ingredients for Pineapple Kichadi for Kozhikode Sadya:

  1. Pineapple cut into small pieces after removing outer skin – 1 cup
    Salt – As required
    Sugar – ½ cup
    Chilli powder – 1 small spoon
  2. Coconut grated – ½ cup
    Green chillies – 4
    Curd – ½ cup
    Mustard – 1 big spoon
  3. Apple cut into small pieces – 1 big spoon
    Red cherries – 5 nos
    Green grapes seedless – 10
    Pomegranate  – 1 big spoon
    Honey – 1 big spoon

How to prepare Pineapple Kichadi for Kozhikode Sadya?

  1. Mix together ingredients no: 1 and cook on a low flame.
  2. Allow it to cool.
  3. Make a fine paste of ingredients no: 2 and add to the cooked pineapple. Mix it well.
  4. Add ingredients no: 3 to Kichadi, mix well, and use.
