Festive Chicken recipe

Ingredients for Festive Chicken:

  1. Chicken -1 kg
  2. Garlic – 15 cloves
    Ginger – 1-inch piece
    Green chillies – 4
  3. Chilli powder – 3 small spoons
    Coriander powder – 3 small spoons
    Turmeric powder – ½ small spoon
    Pepper powder – ½ small spoon
  4. Fennel seeds – 1 small spoon
    Cloves – 4
    Cardamom – 4
    Cinnamon – 2-inch piece
  5. Oil – As required
  6. Onions – 4, chopped
  7. Mustard – 1 small spoon, ground
  8. Tomatoes – 3, finely chopped
    Curry leaves – 2 stalks
    Salt – As required
  9. Coriander leaves chopped – To decorate

How to prepare Festive Chicken?

  1. Cut chicken into desired pieces.
  2. Crush ingredients no: 2.
  3. Add a little water to ingredients no: 3 to make a fine paste.
  4. Grind together ingredients no: 4 and keep aside.
  5. Heat the oil and sauté onions. Then add crushed ingredients no: 2 and sauté for a while.
  6. Add mustard paste to it and sauté for a few moments.
  7. Add the paste of ingredients no: 3 (powders) to it and sauté again.
  8. When you get a pleasant aroma, add the fine paste of ingredients no: 4 to it.
  9. Sauté the ingredients well and add ingredients no: 8 along with the chicken pieces.
  10. Sauté for a while and then cook the chicken on a low flame. There is no need to add excess water.
  11. When the chicken is well-cooked, take it off the flame and decorate with coriander leaves.
