Beet root is a colourful vegetable known for its nutritious benefits too. Mostly used to prepare vegetarian side dishes, it’s also used in the preparation of healthy and colourful juices and smoothies like ABC Juice. Taproot portion of a beet plant and also leaves which are edible is used in preparation. Yellow-colored beetroots are also grown in Indian sub-continent.
