
Ingredients of Beetroot Halwa:
1. Grated beetroot – 1 Kg
2. Milk – 1 Ltr
3. Sugar – 300 gm
4. Ghee – 100 gm
5. Cardamom powder – 1 pinch
6. Dry fruits – Two big spoons
How to prepare Beetroot Halwa?
1. Squeeze off water from grated beetroot.
2. Mix milk with beetroot and place in a pan, and keep frying in low flame.
3. When the liquid content is fully absorbed, add sugar and stir continuously.
4. In between, add ghee little by little.
5. When the halwa thickens and becomes dry, add cardamom powder and turn the flame off.
6. Decorate using dry fruits. Serve hot or cold.
