Paneer – A fresh acid set cheese which is used in dishes of Indian subcontinent. In India, Paneer forms an integral part of North Indian Cuisine, which includes different regions with local flavours. Paneer is now common among South Indian population too. When Paneer is added in continental dishes, it gives a desi flavour. Made from milk adding vinegar or lemon juice to separate thick curd from whey, Paneer is categorized among elegant and costly food items. A wide range of vegetarian side dishes are prepared from Paneer, which form a perfect combo with Rotis and Rice. Paneer is also used to prepare desserts and sweets and Paneer snacks too.
