Methi Paneer recipe

Ingredients for Methi Paneer:

1. Paneer – 200 gm

2. Oil – 4 tablespoons

3. Garlic chopped – 3 tsp

4. Onions chopped – 1 cup

5. Ginger, grated – 1-inch piece

6. Curd – ¼ cup

7. Corn flour – 1 tsp

8. Coriander powder – 2 tsp

9. Kashmiri Chilli powder – 1 tsp

10. Turmeric powder – ½ tsp

11. Garam Masala powder – ½ tsp

12. Salt – For taste

13. Cream – 2 tablespoons

14. Methi leaves – 2 tablespoons

15. Lime juice – 2 tsp

16. Honey – 1 tsp

17. Kasuri Methi – A little

How to prepare Methi Paneer?

1. Heat oil in a thick-bottomed pan.

2. Add 2 tsp garlic and sauté for a few moments.

3. Add onions and ginger and sauté till the colour of the onions changes to light brown.

4. Mix together corn flour and curd and put in a pan.

5. Add salt, coriander powder, Kashmiri chilli powder, garam masala powder and turmeric powder.

6. Sprinkle a little water and sauté for 1 minute.

7. Add cream, methi leaves, lime juice, honey and paneer and cook for 3 minutes.

8. If needed, add a little more water and cook for a few more minutes.

9. In a pan, heat 1 tsp ghee and add 1 tsp chopped garlic.

10. Sauté till garlic turns light brown, and pour it into the curry.
