Prawn Ghee Roast recipe

Ingredients for Prawn Ghee Roast:

  1. Pepper – 1 small spoon
    Asafoetida – A pinch
    Fenugreek – Half a small spoon
    Mustard – Quarter of a small spoon
    Cumin seeds – 1 small spoon
    Red Chillies – 8
    Kashmiri chilli powder – 3 small spoons
    Coriander – 1 small spoon
    Fennel seeds – 1 small spoon
  2. Cleaned prawns – Half kg
  3. Salt and pepper powder – As per taste
    Turmeric powder – Half a small spoon
    Sour-less thick curd – 4 big spoons
  4. Ghee – 1-2 big spoons
  5. Garlic – 6 cloves, crushed
  6. Curry leaves – As required
  7. Ghee – 1 big spoon

How to prepare Prawn Ghee Roast?

  1. Fry ingredients no:1 without oil and make a fine powder.
  2. Marinate prawns using ingredients no:3 and deep fry in ghee.
  3. After removing prawns, saute garlic in the same pan.
  4. Once done, add the masala powder and fry for a few moments.
  5. Add roasted prawns, curry leaves, a little water and salt.
  6. Add a big spoon of ghee to the prawn roast, and take your ghee prawns from the flame.
