Kappa Koottucurry (Tapioca Koottucurry)

Ingredients for Kappa Koottucurry (Tapioca Koottucurry):

1. Tapioca pieces – 1 cup

2. Coconut oil – As required

3. Mustard – 1 small spoon

4. Red chillies – 2, chopped

    Curry leaves – 1 stalk

5. Ginger, garlic and green chillies chopped – 1 small spoon each

    Garam Masala (cardamom, cinnamon, cloves and cumin seeds) – 2 small spoons

6. Turmeric powder – ½ small spoon

     Salt –As required

7. Coconut milk – ½ cup

How to prepare Kappa Koottucurry (Tapioca Koottucurry)?

1. Boil tapioca in water and extract water.

2. Cook it again in fresh water and allow the water to drain off.

3. Heat oil and sputter mustard seeds.

4. Sauté ingredients no: 4.

5. Add ingredients no: 5 to it and sauté it.

6. When the content changes to a nice flavour, add cooked tapioca and mix well.

7. Add salt and turmeric powder and sauté again.

8. Add coconut milk, allow to heat and take off from flame.
