Ingredients for Paneer Fried Rice:
1. Cooked basmati rice – 1.5 cups
2. Paneer cubes – ½ cup
3. Green capsicum chopped – ¼ cup
4. White spring onion chopped – ¼ cup
5. Green spring onion chopped – 2 tablespoons
6. Soya sauce – 2 tsp
7. Salt – For taste
8. Ginger, garlic chopped – ½ tsp
9. Red chillies crushed – ½ tsp
10. Pepper powder – ½ tsp
11. Oil – 3 tsp
How to prepare Paneer Fried Rice?
1. Cook rice and allow it to cool completely.
2. Spread rice on a plate. Add a few drops of oil and keep aside.
3. Heat a tawa and add one teaspoon of oil.
4. Add chopped paneer pieces and sauté them till they turn golden brown.
5. Heat another pan and add three teaspoons of oil.
6. Add crushed ginger & garlic and fry in a high flame.
7. Add white spring onions and fry in a high flame.
8. Add crushed chillies and sauté well.
9. Sauté the ingredients in a high flame for 5 minutes.
10. Add soya sauce, pepper powder and salt and sauté for three more minutes in a high flame.
11. Add fried paneer pieces and mix well.
12. Add cooked rice and mix again.
13. Decorate using green spring onions.
Note: Do not sauté paneer for a long time. If so, it turns very hard.
