Achari Paneer Tikka recipe

Ingredients for Achari Paneer Tikka:

  1. Paneer cubes โ€“ 500 gm
    Capsicum chopped โ€“ 2
  2. Curd – 2 tablespoons
    Ginger-garlic paste โ€“ 2 tsp
    Garam masala powder โ€“ ยฝ tsp
    Lime juice โ€“ 2 tsp
    Salt โ€“ For taste
  3. Oil โ€“ 2 tablespoons

For gravy:

  1. Green chillies โ€“ 4
    Mint leaves โ€“ 3
    Coriander leaves โ€“ A little

For Achari Masala:

  1. Mustard โ€“ 1 tsp
    Coriander seeds โ€“ 1 tsp
    Cumin seeds โ€“ 1 tsp
    Black cumin seeds โ€“ 1 tsp
  2. Mango powder โ€“ As required

How to prepare Achari Paneer Tikka?

  1. Make a fine paste of green chillies, mint leaves and coriander leaves.
  2. Slightly fry coriander seeds, mustard, cumin and black cumin seeds.
  3. Make a fine powder of this mixture by adding mango powder.
  4. Mix it well with ingredients no: 2 and green chilli paste.
  5. Finally, add paneer cubes, and mix well till paneer pieces get a good coat of masala.
  6. Close the bowl with a lid and keep it aside for 1 hour.
  7.  Heat a grill pan and pour a little oil.
  8.  Place paneer cubes and grill them until both sides turn light brown.
  9. Skew paneer cubes and capsicum pieces alternately on a wooden skewer.
