Tricolour Pulao

Ingredients for Tricolour Pulao:

1. Basmati rice – 1 cup

2. Oil – 2 tablespoons

3. Cumin seeds – ½ tsp

    Dry bay leaf – 2

    Cardamom – 4

    Cloves – 4

4. Onions chopped – 1

5. Carrot chopped – 1

6. Green peas – ½ cup

    Cashews fried – ¼ cup

7. Water – 2 cups

    Cumin powder – ¼ tsp

    Salt – For taste

How to prepare Tricolour Pulao?

1. Soak rice for 30 minutes.

2. Heat oil and sauté ingredients no: 3.

3. Add onions and keep sauting till it turns brown.

4. Add carrot followed by rice and ingredients no: 6.

5. Mix the ingredients well and add ingredients no: 7.

6. Close the lid and cook for 15 minutes.

7. When water content is fully absorbed, put off the flame.

8. Serve after 10 minutes.
