Schezwan Crispy Chicken Strips recipe

Ingredients for Schezwan Crispy Chicken Strips:

  1. Chicken breast – 2
  2. Salt – For taste
    Pepper powder – 1 small spoon
    Soya sauce – 1 small spoon
    Ginger-garlic chopped fine – 2 big spoons
    Chilli powder – ½ small spoon
    Corn flour – 2 small spoons
    Water – As required
  3. Oil – As needed
  4. Ginger-garlic chopped fine – 1 small spoon
  5. Onion – 2, chopped
    Capsicum – 1, chopped
    Green chillies chopped fine – 2 small spoons
    Red chillies – 3
    Salt and pepper powder – As per taste
  6. Soya sauce – 1 big spoon
    Chilli sauce – 2 big spoons
    Schezwan paste – 3 big spoons
    Vinegar – 1 big spoon
  7. Water – As required
  8. Spring onion – A handful, chopped fine
  9. Sesame seeds – To decorate

How to prepare Schezwan Crispy Chicken Strips?

  1. Slice the chicken breast into thin pieces.
  2. Marinate chicken pieces with ingredients no: 2 and allow them to rest for 15 minutes.
  3. Deep-fry them in hot oil till they turn crispy and strain excess oil.
  4. Heat oil in another pan and sauté ginger and garlic.
  5. Add ingredients no: 5 to it, and sauté well.
  6. Add ingredients no: 6 and mix well.
  7.  Add a little water and boil the contents.
  8. When the sauce thickens, add the fried chicken and spring onion.
  9. Place the flame on high for a few minutes and toss the contents.
  10. Sprinkle sesame seeds and serve hot.
