Ragi Idiyappam & Vegetable Stew

Ingredients for Ragi Idiyappam:

1. Water – As required

    Salt – For taste

2. Ragi powder – 100 gm

    Rice flour – 100 gm

Ingredients for Vegetable Stew:

3. Oil – 1 small spoon

4. Ginger chopped – 1 small spoon

    Green chillies chopped – 1 small spoon

    Garlic chopped – 1 small spoon

    Curry leaves – 1 stem

    Cardamom – 1

    Cinnamon – 1 piece

    Cloves – 2

    Onions chopped – 1 big spoon

5. Water – As needed

    Salt -For taste

6. Mushroom cut into small pieces – 30 gm

    Ash gourd cut into small pieces – 100 gm

    Chow chow cut into small pieces – 100 gm

    Green peas – 30 gm

    Beans cut into small pieces – 50 gm

7. Low fat milk – 100 milli

8. Cornflour – 2 small spoons

How to prepare Ragi Idiyappam?

1. Boil water adding salt, and add both ragi powder and rice flour.

2. Mix it well and put off the flame.

3. Using a sevanazhi, prepare normal idiyappam.

4. Steam cook it. Your delicious Ragi Idiyappam is ready.

How to prepare Vegetable Stew?

1. Heat oil in a pan, and sauté ingredients no: 4.

2. Add salt and water, followed by vegetables and stir well.

3. Cook the vegetables.

4. When it’s half done, add milk and continue cooking.

5. Mix cornflour with a little water and add to your vegetable stew.

6. When your stew turns thick, put off the flame.
