Poricha Pathiri (Recipe 1)

Poricha Pathiri and Mutton Chaps
Ingredients for Poricha Pathiri:
1. Coconut grated – ½ cup
Shallots – 5
Fennel seeds – ¼ small spoon
2. Water – 2 cups
3. Salt – For taste
Sugar – 1 small spoon
Ghee – 1 big spoon
4. Pathiri flour – 2 cups
5. Oil – For frying
How to prepare Poricha Pathiri?
1. Crush ingredients no: 1 together.
2. Boil water and add ingredients no: 3, followed by pathiri flour.
3. Mix well and turn off the flame.
4. Mix it well, add the coconut mixture, and continue mixing.
5. Add flour and spread it.
6. Using a cutter, cut them into round shapes.
7. Deep fry in hot oil.
8. Serve them with mutton chaaps.

Ingredients for Poricha Pathiri (Recipe 2):
1. Water – 1 cup
Salt – For taste
2. Pathiri flour – 1 cup
3. Coconut grated – ½ cup
Shallots – 4, chopped
Fennel seeds – ½ small spoon
4. Black sesame seeds – ¼ small spoon
5. Coconut oil – For frying
How to prepare Poricha Pathiri (Recipe 2)?
1. Boil water, adding salt.
2. When it boils, add rice flour, mix well, and turn off the flame.
3. Crush ingredients no: 3 and add to the flour.
4. Mix the contents well and make thick puris.
5. To get a perfect circular shape, you can use cutters.
6. Heat oil and deep fry your pathiris till they turn crispy.
