Vegetable Chapati recipe

Ingredients for Vegetable Chapati:

  1. Wheat flour – 1 cup
  2. Carrot, grated – ¼ cup
  3. Toor dal (Pigeon pea) – 50 gm
  4. Salt – As required
  5. Oil – As required

How to prepare Vegetable Chapati?

  1. Cook carrot and dal in a pressure cooker, adding sufficient water and salt.
  2. Once it’s done, smash it.
  3. Add this vegetable mixture to wheat flour, and prepare the dough by adding water.
  4. Allow it to rest for a while.
  5. Make small balls from this dough, roll into round-shaped chapatis and cook on a tawa.
  6. Apply a little oil on both sides.
  7. Flip both sides to cook well.
