
Ingredients for Vegetable Chapati:
- Wheat flour – 1 cup
- Carrot, grated – ¼ cup
- Toor dal (Pigeon pea) – 50 gm
- Salt – As required
- Oil – As required
How to prepare Vegetable Chapati?
- Cook carrot and dal in a pressure cooker, adding sufficient water and salt.
- Once it’s done, smash it.
- Add this vegetable mixture to wheat flour, and prepare the dough by adding water.
- Allow it to rest for a while.
- Make small balls from this dough, roll into round-shaped chapatis and cook on a tawa.
- Apply a little oil on both sides.
- Flip both sides to cook well.
