Ingredients for Bread Mixture:
1. Potato – 2 big
2. Bread – 2 slices
3. Oil – ½ cup
4. Coconut pieces sliced thin – 4 big spoons
5. Raisins – 25 gm
6. Rice flakes (Aval) – 50 gm
7. Curry leaves – 2 stalks
8. Chilli powder – 1 small spoon
Pepper powder – ½ small spoon
Salt – For taste
Sugar – 1 small spoon (optional)
How to prepare Bread Mixture?
1. Remove the skin of potatoes and cut into very thin, lengthy sticks.
2. Immerse potato pieces in salt water for a while.
3. Cut bread into small pieces.
4. Heat oil and fry potatoes till they turn crispy, and remove excess oil.
5. In the remaining oil, fry bread pieces and strain excess oil.
6. Add coconut pieces to the oil and fry them well.
7. Finally, fry raisins. But never over-fry them.
8. Completely remove oil from the pan and dry fry rice flakes.
9. Add rice flakes in two or three lots to fry them perfectly.
10. Also fry curry leaves.
11. Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl and add the powders.
