Fried Coconut Chutney
Ingredients for Fried Coconut Chutney :
1. Coconut oil – 1 tsp
2. Urud Daal (Black gram) – 1 tsp
Curry leaves – 1 stalk
Red chillies – 4
3. Onions finely chopped – ¼ cup
4. Coconut scrapped – ¼ cup
5. Salt – As needed
6. Tamarind – gooseberry sized
Method of preparation of Fried Coconut Chutney :
1. Heat oil and fry ingredients no.2.
2. Add onions and sauté well. Then add coconut and fry till light brown.
3. When coconut turns red colour put the flame off.
4. Add tamarind and salt to this mixture and grind well in a mixer without adding water.
