Fish Kuruma with Chinese Blend


Ingredients for Fish Kuruma:

  1. Fish – ½ kg
  2. Ginger-garlic paste – 2 big spoons
  3. Lemon juice – ½ tsp
  4. Turmeric powder – as needed
  5. Salt – as needed
  6. Corn flour – as needed
  7. Oil – for frying
  8. Onion cut into small pieces – 1 cup
  9. Celery chopped – 1 big spoon
  10. Cashew paste – 3 big spoons
  11. Kak kas paste – 1 small spoon
  12. Chilli powder – 1 small spoon
  13. Tomato sauce – 2 small spoon
  14. Coconut milk – 3 cup

 

How to prepare Fish Kuruma with Chinese Blend?

  1. Marinate fish pieces using a little garlic-ginger paste, salt, a little turmeric powder and lemon juice.
  2. Cover the fish pieces in corn flour powder and fry in hot oil. Never over fry it.
  3. Heat oil and sauté well onion, tomato and green chillies.
  4. When it fries to light brown colour add remaining ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, tomato sauce and a little salt and sauté again.
  5. Add coconut milk, tomato sauce, cashew-kus kus pastes, chilli powder and a little turmeric powder and boil well. Add fish pieces and put flame off.
  6. If you feel gravy is not thick, then add a little corn flour mixed with water to it.
