Theeb Thavukk recipe

Ingredients for Theeb Thavukk:

  1. Chicken, small pieces – ½ kg
  2. Lemon juice – 1 big spoon
  3. Salt – as needed
  4. Tinned butter mushroom – 100 gm
  5. Capsicum square pieces – 150 gm
  6. Onion square pieces – 2 cups
  7. Garlic crushed – 1 big spoon
  8. Pepper powder – as needed
  9. Tomato sauce – ½ cup
  10. Turmeric powder – 1 small spoon
  11. Oil – 3 big spoons
  12. Tomato pieces – 4

How to prepare Theeb Thavukk?

  1. Add lemon juice, salt, and turmeric to the chicken pieces and marinate well.
  2. Mix all the ingredients, including oil.
  3. Bake in the oven. Stir occasionally.
  4. When the water evaporates and the chicken becomes brown, take it from the oven.
  5. If you want to cook in a tawa (pan), spread the mixture uniformly and cook on a low flame. Stir occasionally.
  6. When it becomes brown, your Theeb Thavukk is well-cooked.
