Ingredients for Theeb Thavukk:
- Chicken, small pieces – ½ kg
- Lemon juice – 1 big spoon
- Salt – as needed
- Tinned butter mushroom – 100 gm
- Capsicum square pieces – 150 gm
- Onion square pieces – 2 cups
- Garlic crushed – 1 big spoon
- Pepper powder – as needed
- Tomato sauce – ½ cup
- Turmeric powder – 1 small spoon
- Oil – 3 big spoons
- Tomato pieces – 4
How to prepare Theeb Thavukk?
- Add lemon juice, salt, and turmeric to the chicken pieces and marinate well.
- Mix all the ingredients, including oil.
- Bake in the oven. Stir occasionally.
- When the water evaporates and the chicken becomes brown, take it from the oven.
- If you want to cook in a tawa (pan), spread the mixture uniformly and cook on a low flame. Stir occasionally.
- When it becomes brown, your Theeb Thavukk is well-cooked.
