Toffee Crumble recipe

Ingredients for Toffee Crumble:

For Pancake syrup:

1. Light brown sugar – 125 grams

    Butter – 25 grams

    Cream – 100 ml

    Vanilla essence – 1 small spoon

For Crumble:

2. Maida – 100 grams

    Lemon skin scraped – From one lemon

    Butter – 25 grams

3. Light brown sugar – 75 grams

    Almonds, powdered – 50 grams

4. Butter – 25 grams

5. Apple – 6, cut into small square pieces

6. Ice cream – To serve along with it

How to prepare Toffee Crumble?

1. Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

2. To prepare pancake syrup, mix ingredients no:1 first in a saucepan and boil it for 2-3 minutes.

3. To prepare crumble, mix ingredients no: 2 using fingers. The mixture should turn into a bread-crumb-like.

4. Add ingredients no: 3 to it and keep it aside.

5. In another pan, melt butter and add apple pieces.

6. Continue sautéing until the apple pieces turn soft.

7. Add half the quantity of prepared syrup to the sautéed apple and pour it into a greased baking dish.

8. Sprinkle the crumble on its top and bake it in a preheated oven for 20-30 minutes.

9. You can serve this Toffee Crumble with ice cream of your choice.
