Chicken Curry in Coconut Milk recipe

Ingredients for Chicken Curry in Coconut Milk:

  1. Chicken – 1 kilo
  2. Oil – As required
  3. Onions chopped – ½ cup
    Garlic crushed – 2 cloves
    Ginger – 1 small piece, chopped
    Curry leaves – A little
  4. Tomato chopped – 1 cup
  5. Turmeric powder – ½ small spoon
    Garam masala – ¾ small spoon
    Chilli powder – 4 small spoons
    Coriander powder – 4 small spoons
    Chicken masala – 2 big spoons
    Sugar – ½ small spoon
    Salt and pepper powder – As required
  6. Tomato sauce – 4 small spoons
  7. Coconut milk (2nd extract) – 1 cup
  8. Coconut milk (1st extract) – 1 cup
  9. Coriander leaves chopped – A little

How to prepare Chicken Curry in Coconut Milk?

  1. Heat oil in a pan and sauté onions, ginger, garlic and curry leaves.
  2. When it’s done, add chopped tomatoes.
  3. When tomatoes are well-cooked, add ingredients no: 5.
  4. Add tomato sauce also, and mix the contents well.
  5. Add chicken pieces and keep stirring for a while.
  6. Cook chicken, adding the second extract of coconut milk.
  7. When the chicken is well-cooked, add the first extract of coconut milk and boil.
  8. Decorate with coriander leaves and serve.
