Seafood Tomato Rice recipe

Ingredients for Seafood Tomato Rice:

1. Basmati rice – ½ kg

2. Butter – 1.5 big spoons

3. Cloves – 2

    Cardamom – 2

    Cinnamon – 1 piece

4. Garlic chopped fine – 1 small spoon

    Onion chopped fine – 2 big spoons

5. Salt, lemon juice – ½ small spoon each

6. Prawns – 8

    Squid cut into thin, round pieces – 1 cup

    Tomato – 5

How to prepare Seafood Tomato Rice?

1. Wash rice and drain excess water.

2. Heat butter in a thick-bottomed pan and fry ingredients no: 3.

3. When it splutters, add garlic and fry till it turns golden brown.

4. Add onions and sauté again.

5. When it is done, add rice and fry for more than 1 minute.

6. Add twice the quantity of water equal to the measurement of rice taken.

7. Add salt and lemon juice and stir the contents.

8. Close the lid and cook the rice on a low flame.

9. When water content is fully absorbed, add chopped tomatoes, prawns, and squid pieces.

10. Mix the contents well, close the lid, and cook on a low flame.

11. When squid and prawns are perfectly cooked, rice will also be done.

12. Serve hot.

Note: If ½ kg of rice is equal to two cups in terms of measurement, then use 4 cups of water for cooking rice.
