Ragi-Rice Puttu (Ragi-Rice Steamcake)
Ingredients for Ragi-Rice Puttu (Ragi-Rice Steamcake):
1. Ragi powder – 15 gm
Rice flour (Puttu Podi) – 15 gm
2. Coconut scrapped – 6 tsp
3. Salt – For taste
How to prepare Ragi-Rice Puttu (Ragi-Rice Steamcake)?
1. Mix ragi powder and rice flour adding sufficient water and salt.
2. Allow it to rest for some time.
3. In the steam caker steamer, add a little coconut first.
4. Add flour mixture as second layer, followed by coconut.
5. You can prepare a few layers as you desire.
6. Steam cook till your ragi-rice steam cake is ready.
