Methi Leaf – Chicken Curry (Uluva Cheera Kozhi Curry)

Ingredients for Methi Leaf – Chicken Curry (Uluva Cheera Kozhi Curry):

1. Chicken – ½

2. Coconut – 1

3. Oil – 4 big spoons

4. Onions – 2, sliced lengthwise

    Green chillies – 4, sliced lengthwise

    Ginger – 1 piece, sliced lengthwise

    Curry leaves – 1 stem

    Garlic crushed – 1 big spoon

5. Chilli powder – 1.5 big spoon

    Coriander powder – 1 big spoon

    Turmeric powder – ½ small spoon

    Meat masala powder – 1 small spoon

6. Salt – For taste

7. Fenugreek leaves (Spinach leaves) – 1 cup

8. Ghee/Coconut oil – 1 big spoon

9. Red chillies – 2, cut into pieces

    Shallots chopped – 1 big spoon

    Curry leaves – 1 stem

How to prepare Methi Leaf – Chicken Curry (Uluva Cheera Kozhi Curry)?

1. Clean chicken and cut into pieces.

2. Extract 1 cup first milk and 2 cups of second milk from coconut.

3. Heat oil in a pan and sauté ingredients no: 4

4. When raw smell goes out, add a smooth paste of ingredients no: 5 and sauté again.

5. Add salt and chicken and sauté for a while.

6. Add second extract of coconut milk and cook chicken.

7. When it’s done, add first extract of coconut milk, methi leaves and cook the contents.

8. Heat oil/ghee and temper ingredients no: 9.

9. Add to the methi-chicken curry and serve hot.
