
Ingredients for Pottisar:
1. Jackseed – 100 gm
Drumstick – 5, medium-sized
Green mango – 200 gm
2. Turmeric powder – ¼ small spoon
Chilli powder – 1 big spoon
Salt – For taste
3. Coconut grated – ½ cup
Green chillies – 2
4. Coconut oil – 5 small spoons
Curry leaves – 1 stem
How to prepare Pottisar?
1. Clean jack seeds and chop into small pieces.
2. Cut drumstick into 2-inch pieces.
3. Cut the mango into small square pieces.
4. Cook all these vegetables together, adding ingredients no: 2, water, and salt.
5. Jackfruit seeds should be well-cooked.
6. Crush the coconut and green chillies together and add to cooked vegetables.
7. Mix well and boil the contents.
8. Put off the flame, add coconut oil and curry leaves, and stir well.
9. Fry a few curry leaves and decorate your curry.
N.B: Pottisar is a curry, and its consistency should be enough to pour using a spoon.
