
Ingredients for Nadan Chicken Fry:
- Boneless chicken – ½ kg (cut into small pieces)
- Spicy chilli powder – 1 tablespoon
- Coriander powder – ¼ tablespoon
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Chicken masala – ½ tablespoon
- Fennel seeds, powdered – ½ tablespoon
- Ginger paste – ½ tablespoon
- Garlic paste – ½ tablespoon
- Salt – As required
- Lemon juice – From 1 lemon
- Curry leaves – As required
- Coconut oil – For shallow fry
How to prepare Nadan Chicken Fry?
- Marinate chicken using all the ingredients except curry leaves and oil.
- Keep it in the refrigerator for 1 hour, so that the chicken is well marinated with masala.
- Heat a pan and pour a little oil (You need oil just to cook/shallow fry chicken).
- When the oil heats, add the chicken to it.
- When one side is well fried, flip once and cook the other side too.
- When it’s almost done, add a few curry leaves.
- You can also fry chicken in two or three trips.
Note: You can substitute lemon juice with sour curd, if you please.
