Pad Thai Noodles

Ingredients for Pad Thai Noodles:

1. Rice noodles packet – 115 gm

2. Fish sauce – 1.5 big spoons

    Sugar – 1.5 big spoons

    Water – 2 big spoons

    Rice vinegar – 1 big spoon

    Red chilli powder – ½ small spoon

3. Oil – 2 big spoons

4. Garlic – 3 cloves, chopped fine

5. Prawns (medium sized) cleaned – 100 gm

    Tofu fried – 50 gm cut into small pieces

6. Egg – 1

7. Beans sprouted – 100 gm

    Spring onion – 30 gm, cut into 2-inch pieces

8. Ground nut crushed – 2 big spoons

9. Lemon pieces – To decorate

How to prepare Pad Thai Noodles?

1. Cook noodles as per instructions given in the packet. Noodles should not be overcooked.

2. Drain excess water and wash noodles by placing directly under tap.

3. Mix ingredients no: 2 in a bowl and keep stirring till sugar melts completely. Keep it aside.

4. Heat a pan and saute garlic.

5. Fry for a few minutes, and add prawns and tofu.

6. When prawns change colour, add noodles and stir continuously for 30 seconds.

7. Using a spatula drag the noodle mixture to one side of the pan.

8. In the remaining portion, pour the egg and scramble it well.

9. Now mix the noodles with scrambled egg.

10. Add the fish sauce to your mixture and mix the ingredients well.

11. Add sprouted beans and spring onions, followed by crushed groundnuts.

12. Mix the contents well and put off the flame.

13. Serve hot with lemon pieces.
