Aval Uppilittath (Salted Rice Flakes)

Ingredients for Aval Uppilittath (Salted Rice Flakes):

1. White aval (rice flakes) – ¼ kg

2. Coconut scrapped – ½

3. Salt – For taste

4. Red chillies – 2

    Coriander powder – 2 table spoons

    Cumin seeds – A pinch

How to prepare Aval Uppilittath (Salted Rice Flakes)?

1. Add coconut and salt to rice flakes and rub it manually.

2. Mix ingredients no: 4 and dry fry in low flame.

3. Make a fine powder of this mixture and add to rice flakes – coconut mixture.

4. Mix it well. Your salted rice flake dish is ready to serve.
