
Ingredients for Mixed Fruit Compote French Toast:
- Sandwich bread – 2 slices
- Compote – 1 big spoon
- Egg – 1
Milk – 50 milli
Sugar – 2 small spoons
Cinnamon powder – A pinch - Butter – 1 small spoon
For Compote:
- Grape juice – 200 milli
- Seedless grapes – 500 gm, chopped fine
Apple – 300 gm, chopped fine
Pineapple – 200 gm, chopped fine - Sugar – 300 gm
Lemon juice – From 1 lemon
Cinnamon powder – A pinch
How to prepare Mixed Fruit Compote French Toast?
- Beat ingredients no: 3 in a bowl.
- Take one bread slice and apply a thin layer of Compote.
- Place the second bread slice on top.
- Remove the edges of bread slices and dip in egg-milk mixture.
- Heat a tawa and grease it with butter.
- Place the bread slices in the tawa and grill both sides.
- Serve hot.
Method of preparation of Compote:
- Boil grape juice, and add ingredients no: 6 to it.
- Allow the contents to boil well, and then add ingredients no: 7.
- Continue cooking till the mixture turns thick.
- Turn off the flame and allow it to cool.
