Danish Chocolate recipe

Ingredients for Danish Chocolate:

1. Maida – 250 gm

    Water – 60 milli

    Milk – 60 milli

    Sugar – 5 small spoons

    Salt – A pinch

    Dry yeast – 2 small spoons

    Saltless butter – 2 big spoons

2. Chilled saltless butter – 125 gm, 1 piece

3. Chocolate bar – 50 gm

4. Egg – 1, beaten

    Sugar – 1 small spoon

    Water – As required

How to prepare Danish Chocolate?

1. Mix ingredients no: 1 together in a bowl.

2. Transfer the dough to a flat surface and cover it with a lid.

3. Allow the dough to rest for 1 hour.

4. Spread it flat using a rolling pin and place the butter at the centre.

5. Fold it from all sides towards the centre in a square shape, to completely cover the butter. It will contain three layers.

6. Place it in the freezer for three hours.

7. Spread it again and cut into square pieces of 7-inch size.

8. Place a chocolate bar inside it and fold it once (thus forming 2 layers).

9. Allow it to rest for two hours. The dough rises.

10. Mix ingredients no: 4 to prepare egg wash, and coat the chocolate bars.

11. Pre-heat oven at 200 degree celsious.

12. Bake these chocolate bars in a pre-heated oven for 12 minutes.

13. You can serve Danish Chocolate with chocolate syrup.
