Meat Pepper Roast recipe

Ingredients for Meat Pepper Roast:

  1. Meat (of your choice) – 3 kg, chopped
  2. Turmeric powder – 1 big spoon
    Salt – For taste
    Pepper powder – 1 big spoon
  3. Coconut oil – As needed
  4. Onion – 6 big, sliced thin
    Ginger – 1 big piece, cut similar to matchsticks
    Garlic – 1 big full, chopped
    Green chillies – 5, split into two
    Salt – For taste
  5. Chilli powder – 1 big spoon
    Coriander powder – 3 big spoons
    Fennel powder – 1 big spoon
    Pepper powder – 2 big spoons
    Salt – For taste
  6. Garam masala powder – 1 big spoon
  7. Curry leaves – 3 stems

How to prepare Meat Pepper Roast?

  1. Cook the meat along with salt and turmeric in a pressure cooker without adding water.
  2. After 2 whistles, simmer the flame and cook till it’s done.
  3. Strain the stock from the cooked meat and keep it aside.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and sauté ingredients no: 4.
  5. When onions turn mirror-like, reduce the flame and add ingredients no: 5.
  6. When a thin layer of oil appears on the surface, add meat pieces.
  7. Close the lid and cook for 5 more minutes.
  8. Add ¼ cup of meat stock to it and cook on a high flame.
  9. Keep stirring till all ingredients are mixed well and the water content is fully absorbed.
  10. Add garam masala powder and turn off the flame.
  11. Decorate your Meat Pepper Roast with curry leaves and serve hot.
