Meat Cutlet is a flavourful, crispy snack made from spiced minced meat, shaped into patties and deep-fried or pan-fried until golden brown. Perfect as an evening snack, party appetizer, or tea-time treat, these cutlets are juicy inside and crispy on the outside.

Meat Cutlet Recipe

Ingredients for Meat Cutlet:

  1. Meat of your choice – ½ kg
  2. Ginger chopped – 1 big spoon
    Pepper powder – 1 small spoon
    Garam masala powder – ½ small spoon
    Salt – For taste
  3. Oil – As required
  4. Onion – 1, chopped fine
  5. Ginger chopped – ½ small spoon
  6.  Green chillies – 4, chopped
     Coriander leaves chopped – A little
      Carrot – 1, grated
  7. Garam masala powder – 1 small spoon
  8. Potato – 2, boiled and smashed
  9. Egg white – From 1 egg
  10. Bread crumbs – 1 cup
  11. Oil – For frying

How to prepare Meat Cutlet?

  1. Cook the meat, adding ingredients listed in step 2 and sufficient water.
  2. When it’s completely cooled, beat it once in a mixer to prepare minced meat.
  3. Heat oil in a pan, and sauté onions, followed by ginger.
  4. Add green chillies, carrot, and coriander leaves and sauté again.
  5. Continue sautéing until the water content is fully absorbed.
  6. When it cools, mix it with potato and minced meat, and mix well.
  7. Prepare small balls and then make cutlets of the desired shape.
  8. Dip each cutlet in egg white and roll it in breadcrumbs until it is fully coated with a thin layer.
  9. Heat the oil and deep-fry the cutlets.
  10. Serve your meat cutlet with any sauce of your choice.
