Masala Rice recipe

Ingredients for Masala Rice:

1. Ghee – 1 big spoon

2. Cinnamon, cardamom and cloves – 1 big spoon, together

3. Garlic crushed – 1 big spoon

    Green chillies chopped – 1 big spoon

    Onions – 1, chopped fine

4. Basmati rice – 1.5 cups

5. Salt – For taste

    Boiling water – 3 cups

6. Cilantro – 1 cup, chopped

7. Onions – 1, sliced and fried in oil/ghee

How to prepare Masala Rice?

1. Heat ghee in a thick-bottomed pan and fry ingredients no: 2.

2. Sauté ingredients no: 3, followed by rice for 2 minutes.

3. Add salt and boiling water, and mix the contents.

4. Cook rice on a medium flame till it is done.

5. Add coriander leaves, mix well and turn off the flame.

6. Decorate with fried onion slices and serve hot.
