Masala Rice

Ingredients for Masala Rice:

1. Ghee – 1 big spoon

2. Cinnamon, cardamom and cloves – 1 big spoon, together

3. Garlic crushed – 1 big spoon

    Green chillies chopped – 1 big spoon

    Onions – 1, chopped fine

4. Basmati rice – 1.5 cups

5. Salt – For taste

    Boiling water – 3 cups

6. Cilandro – 1 cup, chopped

7. Onions – 1, sliced and fried in oil/ghee

How to prepare Masala Rice?

1. Heat ghee in a thick bottomed pan and fry ingredients no: 2.

2. Saute ingredients no: 3, followed by rice for 2 minutes.

3. Add salt and boiling water and mix the contents.

4. Cook rice in medium flame till it is done.

5. Add coriander leaves, mix well and put off the flame.

6. Decorate with fried onion slices and serve hot.
