Lollu Sabha Jeeva is a Tamil actor and politician. He started his career with the television show Lollu Sabha alongside another comedian Santhanam, and later established himself as a comedy actor on the big screen.

Tamil spoof comedy TV series, Lollu Sabha, was aired on STAR Vijay during 2003–2008, and also starred actor Santhanam, Swaminathan, Lollu Sabha Manohar, Lollu Sabha Balaji, Lollu Sabha Seshu, and Jangiri Madhumitha. The prefix ‘Lollu Sabha’ permanently attached itself to his name as a badge of honor, like many of his co-stars. Jeeva is a youth leader of the political party, Kamarajar Makkal Katchi.

Jeeva was born on 31 July 1985 in Karaikudi, Sivagangai. Initially, he worked as an assistant director in the entertainment industry. He got his big break in the entertainment industry through the popular comedy spoof, Lollu Sabha, aired on STAR Vijay during 2003–2008. The show, which starred several newcomers, was an instant hit and ran for more than 5 years on television. Jeeva was frequently paired alongside Santhanam and Swaminathan in the show.

He later appeared in TV series – Arasi, Kana Kaanum Kaalangal, Enga Veetu Meenakshi, and Sutta Kadhai. The audience often compares him with actor Bobby Simha for face resemblance. His quick physical slapstick and perfect parody mimicry are his trademarks.

He started playing supporting roles on the big screen in 2007

Vegam (2007) was his debut film in a supporting role. He later appeared in Kuruvi, Alibaba, Ninaithale Inikkum, Adhe Neram Adhe Idam, Kanden Kadhalai, Madrasapattinam, Aattanayagan, Kasethan Kadavulada, Kochadaiiyaan etc. He mostly played heroes’ friends or sidekicks, with very little significance.

After playing the second fiddle in around 30 films, Lollu Sabha Jeeva finally got his big break as a hero through Aarambamey Attakasam in 2017. Bayama Irukku, Merlin, and Vaanaran are his roles later, where he played supporting roles. In 2020, he played the protagonist in Kombu.

Jeeva officially stepped into politics by joining the Kamarajar Makkal Katchi (KMK)

He is currently a member of Kamarajar Makkal Katchi (KMK), a political party founded and led by the veteran writer, political analyst, and activist Tamilaruvi Maniyan. The party revives the educational and developmental policies of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K. Kamaraj. The party leadership appointed him as the State Youth Wing Leader.
