Ivy Gourd Pachadi - Kovakka Pachadi

Ingredients for Kovakka Pachadi (Ivy Gourd Pachadi):

1. Curd – 2 cups, whisked

    Salt – As needed

2.  Ivy gourd (Kovakka) sliced into thin rounds – 200 g

    Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp

    Chilli powder – 1/2 tsp

    Salt – As needed

3. Oil – As needed

4. Chilli powder – A pinch

How to prepare Kovakka Pachadi (Ivy Gourd Pachadi)?

1. Whisk the curd with salt and keep it in the refrigerator to chill.

2. Mix the ingredients under section 2 well and let them rest for 10 minutes.

3. Deep-fry the marinated kovakka mixture in hot oil until crisp.

4. Just before serving, add the fried pieces to the curd and sprinkle a pinch of chilli powder on top.
