Koova Paalooda recipe

Ingredients for Koova Paalooda (Arrowroot Falooda):

  1. Arrowroot powder – 1.5 big spoons
    Milk – 2 cups
  2. Sugar – 2 big spoons
    Turmeric powder – A pinch
  3. Cardamom – 3, crushed
    Salt – A pinch
  4. Ghee – A small spoon
  5. Onions chopped thin – 1 small spoon
    Cashews and raisins – 1 big spoon each
  6. Dried rose petals – To decorate

How to prepare Koova Paalooda (Arrowroot Falooda)?

  1. Mix arrowroot powder in 1.25 cups of milk.
  2.  Boil the remaining milk by adding sugar and turmeric powder.
  3. Add arrowroot-milk mixture to it, along with salt and cardamom.
  4. Keep stirring and cook the contents.
  5. Fry ingredients no: 5 in ghee, and pour into the arrowroot mixture.
  6. Mix the contents and allow to cool.
  7. Transfer Arrowroot Falooda into serving glasses.
  8. Decorate with rose petals and serve.
