Ingredients for Koova Paalooda (Arrowroot Falooda):
- Arrowroot powder – 1.5 big spoons
Milk – 2 cups - Sugar – 2 big spoons
Turmeric powder – A pinch - Cardamom – 3, crushed
Salt – A pinch - Ghee – A small spoon
- Onions chopped thin – 1 small spoon
Cashews and raisins – 1 big spoon each - Dried rose petals – To decorate
How to prepare Koova Paalooda (Arrowroot Falooda)?
- Mix arrowroot powder in 1.25 cups of milk.
- Boil the remaining milk by adding sugar and turmeric powder.
- Add arrowroot-milk mixture to it, along with salt and cardamom.
- Keep stirring and cook the contents.
- Fry ingredients no: 5 in ghee, and pour into the arrowroot mixture.
- Mix the contents and allow to cool.
- Transfer Arrowroot Falooda into serving glasses.
- Decorate with rose petals and serve.
