On the bank of Kalindi river,

You please come,

The one with Kayambu colour (blue),

Hey, Krishna

Kalindi Theeram Thannil

Kayamboo Varna Kannaa (F)

On the bank of Kalindi river,

You please come,

The one with Kayambu colour (blue),

Trivia: The movie April 18 marked Malayalam debut of Malayalam’s iconic actress, Shobana. She marked her screen debut through a couple of Tamil movies in year 1980 in a child role, Mangala Nayagi and Manmatha Ragangal. She reprised Padmini Kolhapure’s child role of Saajan Bina Suhagan, when it was remade in Tamil as Mangala Nayagi – her screen debut. April 18 was her first adult role, that too as female protagonist.
