
Ingredients for Chicken Nirachath (Stuffed Chicken):
- Chicken – 1, medium-sized
- Kashmiri chilli powder – 1 big spoon
Turmeric powder – ½ small spoon
Salt – For taste - Shallots – 10
Ginger – 1 piece
Garlic – 10 cloves
Turmeric powder – ½ small spoon
Kashmiri chilli powder – 2 big spoons
Garam masala powder – ½ small spoon
Lemon juice – From 1 lemon - Oil – As required
- Onion -2, chopped
Green chillies – 3, chopped
Ginger-garlic paste – 1 big spoon - Curry leaves – As needed
Coriander leaves – As needed
Turmeric powder – ¼ small spoon
Chilli powder – ½ small spoon
Coriander powder – ¼ small spoon
Garam masala powder – ¼ small spoon - Egg – 1, boiled
- Oil – As required
How to prepare Chicken Nirachath (Stuffed Chicken)?
- Clean the chicken as a whole, and make deep cuts on its body.
- Marinate chicken using ingredients no: 2.
- Tie the chicken legs and wings to its breast portion.
- Pressure chicken, adding a little water. Switch off the flame after the first whistle.
- Make a fine paste of ingredients no: 3 and marinate the chicken.
- Heat oil in a pan and sauté ingredients no: 5.
- Add ingredients no: 6 and sauté well.
- Fill the chicken with boiled egg and this gravy.
- Heat oil and fry chicken.
- Flip both sides to fry both sides.
- Serve hot with Kannu Pathiri.
