Chicken Nirachath - Stuffed Chicken

Ingredients for Chicken Nirachath (Stuffed Chicken):

  1. Chicken – 1, medium-sized
  2. Kashmiri chilli powder – 1 big spoon
    Turmeric powder – ½ small spoon
    Salt – For taste
  3. Shallots – 10
    Ginger – 1 piece
    Garlic – 10 cloves
    Turmeric powder – ½ small spoon
    Kashmiri chilli powder – 2 big spoons
    Garam masala powder – ½ small spoon
    Lemon juice – From 1 lemon
  4. Oil – As required
  5. Onion -2, chopped
    Green chillies – 3, chopped
    Ginger-garlic paste – 1 big spoon
  6. Curry leaves – As needed
    Coriander leaves – As needed
    Turmeric powder – ¼ small spoon
    Chilli powder – ½ small spoon
    Coriander powder – ¼ small spoon
    Garam masala powder – ¼ small spoon
  7. Egg – 1, boiled
  8. Oil – As required

How to prepare Chicken Nirachath (Stuffed Chicken)?

  1. Clean the chicken as a whole, and make deep cuts on its body.
  2. Marinate chicken using ingredients no: 2.
  3. Tie the chicken legs and wings to its breast portion.
  4. Pressure chicken, adding a little water. Switch off the flame after the first whistle.
  5. Make a fine paste of ingredients no: 3 and marinate the chicken.
  6. Heat oil in a pan and sauté ingredients no: 5.
  7. Add ingredients no: 6 and sauté well.
  8. Fill the chicken with boiled egg and this gravy.
  9. Heat oil and fry chicken.
  10. Flip both sides to fry both sides.
  11. Serve hot with Kannu Pathiri.
