Egg Stew recipe

Ingredients for Egg Stew (Mutta Stew):

  1. Eggs – 6
  2. Oil – 2 big spoons
  3. Pepper – 1 small spoon
    Cardamom – 3
    Cloves – 3
    Cinnamon – 1 small piece
  4. Onion – 1 big, chopped
    Green chillies – 5, chopped
    Ginger – 1 piece, chopped
    Garlic chopped – 1 small spoon
  5. Potatoes – 2, cut into pieces
    Tomatoes – 2 or 3, split lengthwise into 4 parts
  6. Salt – For taste
  7. Coconut milk – 1.5 cups
    Macaroni cooked – ½ cup
  8. Lemon juice – A little (optional)
  9. Ghee – 1 big spoon
  10. Shallots chopped – 2 big spoons
    Curry leaves – 2 stalks

How to prepare Egg Stew (Mutta Stew)?

  1. Boil eggs and cut them into two or four parts.
  2. Heat oil and fry ingredients no: 3.
  3. Add ingredients no: 4 and sauté the ingredients for a few minutes, followed by potatoes and tomatoes.
  4. Add salt and sufficient water to it, and cook the ingredients for 5 minutes in a pressure cooker.
  5. When the pressure drops to zero, add macaroni and coconut milk.
  6. Place the potato gravy in the flame and boil it well.
  7. Add eggs and take off the flame. You can also add lemon juice if needed.
  8. Heat ghee and fry the shallots and curry leaves.
  9. Pour it on top of your egg stew and serve it hot.
