
Ingredients for Egg Stew (Mutta Stew):
- Eggs – 6
- Oil – 2 big spoons
- Pepper – 1 small spoon
Cardamom – 3
Cloves – 3
Cinnamon – 1 small piece - Onion – 1 big, chopped
Green chillies – 5, chopped
Ginger – 1 piece, chopped
Garlic chopped – 1 small spoon - Potatoes – 2, cut into pieces
Tomatoes – 2 or 3, split lengthwise into 4 parts - Salt – For taste
- Coconut milk – 1.5 cups
Macaroni cooked – ½ cup - Lemon juice – A little (optional)
- Ghee – 1 big spoon
- Shallots chopped – 2 big spoons
Curry leaves – 2 stalks
How to prepare Egg Stew (Mutta Stew)?
- Boil eggs and cut them into two or four parts.
- Heat oil and fry ingredients no: 3.
- Add ingredients no: 4 and sauté the ingredients for a few minutes, followed by potatoes and tomatoes.
- Add salt and sufficient water to it, and cook the ingredients for 5 minutes in a pressure cooker.
- When the pressure drops to zero, add macaroni and coconut milk.
- Place the potato gravy in the flame and boil it well.
- Add eggs and take off the flame. You can also add lemon juice if needed.
- Heat ghee and fry the shallots and curry leaves.
- Pour it on top of your egg stew and serve it hot.
