
Ingredients for Egg – Curd Curry:
- Oil – 4 big spoons
- Onions sliced – 1 cup
- Ginger, finely chopped – 1 small spoon
Garlic, finely chopped – 1 small spoon
Red chillies – 2
Curry leaves – 2 stalks - Coriander powder – 2 small spoons
Chilli powder – 1 small spoon
Cumin powder – 1 small spoon
Turmeric powder – ½ small spoon - Curd (not too sour), well beaten – 1 cup
- Water – 1 cup
Salt – For taste
Sugar – ¼ small spoon - Boiled eggs – 8, cut into two halves lengthwise
How to prepare Egg – Curd Curry?
- Heat the oil and sauté onions.
- When it’s done, add ingredients no: 3.
- Sauté the contents till the raw smell changes to a pleasant aroma.
- Add ingredients no: 4, and mix well.
- When the contents are well fried, reduce the flame, add curd, and stir continuously.
- When the contents start boiling and a thin layer of oil appears, add water, sugar, and salt.
- Mix well and allow the contents to boil.
- Heat the tawa, apply a little ghee, and fry egg pieces.
- Add these egg pieces to the boiling curry and turn off the flame.
- Serve hot.
