Egg – Curd Curry recipe

Ingredients for Egg – Curd Curry:

  1. Oil – 4 big spoons
  2. Onions sliced – 1 cup
  3. Ginger, finely chopped – 1 small spoon
    Garlic, finely chopped – 1 small spoon
    Red chillies – 2
    Curry leaves – 2 stalks
  4. Coriander powder – 2 small spoons
    Chilli powder – 1 small spoon
    Cumin powder – 1 small spoon
    Turmeric powder – ½ small spoon
  5. Curd (not too sour), well beaten – 1 cup
  6. Water – 1 cup
    Salt – For taste
    Sugar – ¼ small spoon 
  7. Boiled eggs – 8, cut into two halves lengthwise

How to prepare Egg – Curd Curry?

  1. Heat the oil and sauté onions.
  2. When it’s done, add ingredients no: 3.
  3.  Sauté the contents till the raw smell changes to a pleasant aroma.
  4. Add ingredients no: 4, and mix well.
  5. When the contents are well fried, reduce the flame, add curd, and stir continuously.
  6. When the contents start boiling and a thin layer of oil appears, add water, sugar, and salt.
  7. Mix well and allow the contents to boil.
  8. Heat the tawa, apply a little ghee, and fry egg pieces.
  9. Add these egg pieces to the boiling curry and turn off the flame.
  10. Serve hot.
