Soya Keema Rice Roll

Ingredients for Soya Keema Rice Roll:

1. Water – 1.5 cups

2. Basmati rice – 1 cup, soaked

    Cinnamon, cloves, cardamom – 3 each

    Frozen green peas – ½ cup

3. Soya chunks – 1 cup

4. Oil – 3 big spoons

5. Onion – 1, chopped

    Garlic and ginger chopped – 1 small spoon each

    Green chillies – 4, chopped fine

6. Tomato chopped fine – 5 big spoons

7. Garam masala powder – 1 small spoon

    Fennel powder – 1 small spoon

    Kashmiri chilli powder – 1 big spoon

8. Carrot and cabbage chopped – 5 big spoons each

9. Tomato sauce – 1 big spoon

10. Wheat flour – 1 cup

      Gram flour – ¼ cup

      Ghee – 2 big spoons

      Cumin powder – 1 small spoon

      Coriander leaves and mint leaves chopped – 2 big spoons each

      Salt – For taste

How to prepare Soya Keema Rice Roll?

1. To prepare Keema rice, boil water and add rice and along with spices and frozen green peas.

2. Cook rice until it’s well cooked and water content is fully absorbed.

3. Boil soya chunks adding water, squeeze it and mince it later.

4. Heat oil in a pan and sauté ingredients no: 5.

5. Add chopped tomatoes, sauté well and then add ingredients no: 7.

6. Add carrot, cabbage and minced soya bean and sauté again.

7. When it’s done, add tomato sauce.

8. Keep sauting till water content is fully absorbed.

9. Add boiled rice to it and stir well.

10. Prepare dough for chapati from ingredients no: 10.

11. Make small balls from it and spread into thin chapatis.

12. Prepare chapatis.

13. You can roll each chapati by placing a little rice inside it as filling.

14. You can serve along with keema rice.
