
Ingredients for Shoe Flower Tea (Chemparathi Tea):
- Water – 4 cups
- Sugar – 100 gm
Cinnamon – ½ inch piece
Ginger chopped – 2 slices - Hibiscus flowers dried – 1 cup
- Lemon juice – 10 milli
- Water – 4 cups
- Watermelon flesh scooped into small balls – To decorate
Salad cucumber slices – To decorate
How to prepare Shoe Flower Tea (Chemparathi Tea)?
- Boil water in a saucepan and boil ingredients no: 2.
- Keep stirring and boil till the sugar dissolves completely.
- Turn off the flame and add hibiscus flowers.
- Stir well and close the saucepan with a lid.
- Allow it to rest for 20 minutes.
- Strain it and keep this juice in the refrigerator.
- For serving, mix it with 4 cups of water, lemon juice, and ice cubes.
- Using a toothpick, fix the cucumber pieces and watermelon scoops in the serving glass.
- Serve chilled.
