Shoe Flower Tea drink

Ingredients for Shoe Flower Tea (Chemparathi Tea):

  1. Water – 4 cups
  2. Sugar – 100 gm
    Cinnamon – ½ inch piece
    Ginger chopped – 2 slices
  3. Hibiscus flowers dried – 1 cup
  4. Lemon juice – 10 milli
  5. Water – 4 cups
  6. Watermelon flesh scooped into small balls – To decorate
    Salad cucumber slices – To decorate

How to prepare Shoe Flower Tea (Chemparathi Tea)?

  1. Boil water in a saucepan and boil ingredients no: 2.
  2. Keep stirring and boil till the sugar dissolves completely.
  3. Turn off the flame and add hibiscus flowers.
  4. Stir well and close the saucepan with a lid.
  5. Allow it to rest for 20 minutes.
  6. Strain it and keep this juice in the refrigerator.
  7. For serving, mix it with 4 cups of water, lemon juice, and ice cubes.
  8. Using a toothpick, fix the cucumber pieces and watermelon scoops in the serving glass.
  9. Serve chilled.
