Shakshuka

Ingredients for Shakshuka:

1. Olive oil – 2 big spoon

2. Onion – 1, chopped

    Red capsicum – 1, cut into small square pieces

3. Garlic – 4 cloves, chopped

    Kashmiri chilli powder – 2 big spoons

    Cumin seeds – 1 small spoon

    Chilli powder – ¼ small spoon

4. Tomato – 1 big, blend in a mixer

    Salt and pepper powder – As needed

5. Eggs – 6

6. Coriander leaves chopped – 1 big spoon

    Parsley chopped – 1 big spoon

How to prepare Shakshuka?

1. Heat oil in a pan and sauté onions and capsicum.

2. Add garlic and powders, and sauté for a while.

3. Add ingredients no: 4 and sauté again.

4. When it boils, make small pits here and there and break eggs into it.

5. Close the lid and cook for 8 minutes in low flame.

6. Sprinkle coriander leaves and parsley, and a little pepper powder if needed.

7. Serve it with toasted bread.
