Broccoli and Zucchini Koottucurry recipe

Ingredients for Broccoli and Zucchini Koottucurry:

1. Coconut grated – 1/4 cup

    Green chillies – 2

    Garlic – 2 cloves

    Cumin seeds – ½ small spoon

    Water – A little

2. Green gram dal – ½ cup

    Salt – For taste

    Turmeric powder – ¼ small spoon

3. Broccoli – 1 small (separate the florets)

    Zucchini – 1 small, cut into pieces

4. Oil – As required

5. Red chillies – 2, broken

    Mustard – ½ small spoon

    Curry leaves – A little

    Shallots – 5, chopped

How to prepare Broccoli and Zucchini Koottucurry?

1. Make a paste of ingredients no: 1, adding sufficient water. Add less amount of water so that the coconut paste is thick.

2. Cook ingredients no: 2 in a pan, adding 1 cup water.

3. Cook zucchini and broccoli in a separate pan as well.

4. Heat oil in a pan and temper ingredients no: 5.

5. Add cooked dal and coconut mixture to it.

6. Add half a cup of water and continue cooking till it thickens in consistency.

7. Finally, add cooked zucchini and broccoli, and cook for 1 more minute.

8. Put off the flame and serve hot.
