Saffron Rice

Ingredients for Saffron Rice:

1. Basmati rice – 2 cups

2. Butter – 2 big spoons

3. Vegetable/Non-vegetarian stock – 4 cups

    Saffron – 1-2 pinch

    Salt – For taste

5. Onions sliced – ½ cup, fried

    Coriander leaves chopped – To decorate

How to prepare Saffron Rice?

1. Wash rice and drain excess water.

2. Heat butter in a pan and fry rice for 1-2 minutes.

3. Add ingredients no: 3 and stir the contents.

4. Close the lid, reduce the flame and cook will water content is fully absorbed.

5. Just before you serve, spread rice using a fork (never use spoon).

6. Decorate your saffron rice with fried onion slices and coriander leaves.
